Main Street Officer: Patrolman Robert Ela
Officer Robert Ela is our Main Street Beat officer. Officer Ela works a walking beat shift Monday thru Friday from 11am to 7pm. This position is funded by a private grant, graciously donated by Gerald and Marilyn Fels of the Fels Family Foundation. As part of this high profile assignment, Officer Ela is responsible for a full time presence in the Main Street area as well as visiting with businesses and customers on the Main Street.
Officer Ela works out of a Sub Station located in the former Charter Communications Office inside the Holden Block at 275 Main Street. Although this Sub Station is not staffed, you may find Officer Ela here at times during his shift working on reports or speaking with members of the Main Street community.
